“This is an absolutely beautiful and incredible villa, set aside in it's own spacious land with a fantastic view covering a lot of the northern part of Crete. It's a close enough drive (15mins) to Rethymno and shorter to nearby shops (10mins) up/down the smooth hill road. The villa itself is very well finished with everything you need! The pool was a lovely temperature and we prefer the greener colour appearance (a result of the yellower stone finish mixing with light). It was always very clean and debris free. There were plenty of seating options for different weathers, and the bean bag type beds were a lovely comfortable addition. There is plenty of parking for quite a few vehicles if needed. There are 2 nearby Tavernas within walking distance - both giving good quality food and excellent views. Finally, the host Antonis was incredibly welcoming despite our late arrival. He was always on hand if needed and kindly checked before, during and after that we were ok. He is on hand if required for any matter. We had an absolutely fantastic time here, the villa is very comfortable and the views are superb. It's close enough to give a good view without being too far away from anything interesting. It's well positioned within Crete to give you an hour's drive to Chania, Heraklion or the south coast. I would highly recommend this villa.”

“Fantastic place on top of a hill overseeing Rethymnon and the sea. Amazing villa with all amenities and comfort, Lord of space, very clean and tidy. Felt like home! Great pool and great location just 15 min drive from Rethymnon. A few tavernas close by at the bottom of the hill and a big Lidl supermarket with everything one needs. Water pressure in the villa varies during the day, but not really a big issue. Wifi would be a great addition as well. We loved this place and would definitely return next time we’re in Crete.”

“The villa is very comfortable, with great bathrooms. The pool is very clean and big enough. The villa is located only 1.1 hrs by car from Heraklion and 10 mins to the beach. The area is very quiet. And of course we experienced the greatest hospitality from the owners. Starting from vegetables from the garden and eggs from their chickens as well as raki that was presented to us when we arrived. We felt like we were visiting our long lost Greek relatives))) Thanks a lot to the Tzortzinakis family for our great vacation.”

“The villa is an old building that has been renovated to a high standard. The rooms are very cozy and the entire place is maintained to a high standard. Mr Savvas Constantinou, the local contact, is very nice and takes care of everything that is needed efficiently and quickly. The villa is located in the center of the historic village of Maroulas. The area is very quiet and the view to the sea and the area is beautiful and relaxing. The village is a few minutes drive from the busy tourist areas. Food stores can be found within a short drive. A small portion of the commodities can be bought in the village itself.”
