“Very stylish and cosy house. Placed in the base of old and ancient Castel del Monte, straight under the highest tower of the castle. Beautiful lanscapes are seen form the stone benches in front of the entrance. Again, very stylish and cosy small city. Actually, this is a single structure like termitee. Despite small area you can infinitely walk through narrow streets, lanes, arcs, and vaults. About navigation: My navigator got mad searching for the place because there is no driveway to the house. You have to stop the car on the only ring in the city (Municipio) and call Carlo. If you still want to navigate yourself, stand with your back to the fountain in the center of the ring and walk towards the highest tower. Yol'll see the table "Via Delle Acacie", a sloping zigzagging street-staircase will take you to the house. (Actually about 150 human steps from the fountain). I show the place on the photo by arrow. The place is ideally suited for running, cycling, climbing, as well for quiet walks (national park, Campo Imperatore, Corno Grande, well-developed road system. The nearest trekking trails starts from the city center but I'd like you to find them yourself.”

“Hosts are very friendly and helpful. I liked our morning english-italian chats with delicious coffee (during our almost 2weeks holiday in Abrruzia, this coffee was the best). One of these conversations inspired us to hike Monte Camicia. Grazie! Breakasts were very good. Location is in the centre. I like Castel del Monte and people who live there with positive attitide and openess. Thank you! I wish I returned there.”
