We can heartily recommend this accommodation”

A good central base to visit the surrounding beachside towns of Otranto, San Lucce and Gallipoli. Is it limited with regards to restaurant choice at night not a real problem. Very quiet during the day”

“Thank you, Alberto, for such a wonderful stay in your masseria-hotel. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the stark white walls, the tasteful decoration (mainly antique to blend in) but kept minimal to appreciate the naturalness of this animal-barn-turned-hotel. Everything to the last detail was thought out with taste. When you leave the room, you walk out onto a large garden, where you can also sit in the evening. Internet was fine, breakfast was a regal – local fresh pastries of all sorts (sweet and salted) brought daily by Alberto who is also a great host, helpful for directions, places to eat, etc.; we especially appreciated his explanations regarding local agriculture, or conversation on any subject. This hotel and the grounds around it are his passion, keeping alive the traditions of Puglia. Don’t let the eccentric location of this hotel shy you away – one explanation from our kind host and we found everything with no problem. Thank you again, Alberto, we hope to be back.”

This is a unique place, which is something to experience at the same time as a trulli or another typical place from Puglia. A place with its own soul. “The location was perfect, we lived in a 500 hundred year old palazzo, exactly in the historic centre of Galatina, still quiet. Only few step from the main square of the city where are the restaurants, bars, concerts in the evening. You can park easily close to the house with a permission ensured by Palazzo Cavoti. The room and the bath was stylish and fine and spotless clean, the bed was comfortable, we could relax here very well, and also in the small patio front of the room. We also liked the buffet breakfast, with fresh fig, home made cookies, yoghurt, juice, and coffee. Our host Giulia and her nice family did everything for our comfort. Once I return to Galatina, I would come again to palazzo Cavoti.”

“What I like most is the location of the 'room'. It is on the ground floor and we could park our car right at the front door. I needed to pack our luggage due to the shopping which I did and we were only two nights before flying back home. It was perfect and a blessing, too. I really appreciated it. The owners were also very helpful and friendly. It is not really away from the city centre so the location is fine. There is also a restaurant beside which I could really recommend. The food is delicious for a very reasonable price. The restaurant was really splendid. We stayed there while waiting for the owner of the hotel to arrive.”

“Beautifully appointed room, courtyard off bedroom, Stefania delightful- couldn’t be more helpful. Despite her limited English and my very limited Italian, we certainly were able to communicate well- with the help of google translate at times. Huge variety at breakfast- I am gluten free and Stefania catered far better than hotels- she provided me each morning with a delicious pastry from a Senza Glutine patisserie. I couldn’t recommend this B & B highly enough. The B & B is a short, easy walk into the Old Town.”
