“As my boyfriend doesn't like the heat, we requested a cool room - we were given a room on the ground floor which was the prefect temperature! It was a beautifully decorated, large and very comfortable. The house is a bit like a villa with beautiful plants growing in the garden - and a great seating area in the centre. The house feels very secure and we felt safe there. Meta is a small village, it was good staying away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento - which is a little busy but a great night out! The house is a 15 minute walk from the train station - not a difficult walk by any means. You walk through the centre of Meta where there is a supermarket, little cafes etc. The train is very cheap and you can get to Pompeii and Sorrento very easily. There are also buses from Meta which take you to Amalfi and Positano - these are also cheap and it takes about an hour to Amalfi. There is a small bakery directly opposite Casa Stefania which sells delicious cake and coffee for breakfast :) If you miss the last train back from Sorrento, a taxi back to Meta will cost about 30Euro, or you could walk back which would take about 45minutes. The rest of the public transport is really cheap though! Highly recommended! We had a great stay.”

“Luigi the owner was amazing the nicest place we stayed in out of our three different locations in Italy. He was so accommodating and helpful. He recommended amazing places to eat from coffee and croissants in the morning to a beautiful meal at night. He gave us a map of the area and took time to sit down and chatted to us about things to see and do. Even booking to a 4am taxi to the airport and personally saw us off on our merry way. “We were there in April 2017, 3 adults overall. The place is wonderfully located!!! Not far from the sea (5 minutes on foot) and Circumvesuviana train station(Meta St.). Direct connection to Naples( 1 hour by the train), Pompeii ( 40 minutes),Ercolano Scavi and Sorrento (3 stations)!!! There is a bus station to Positano and Amalfi in front of the Circumvesuviana Meta St. about (5 minutes from the house)!!! Wonderful clean house with beautiful garden, full of aromatic orange trees, surrounded by a wall. The kitchen with living room, two bedrooms and toilet with the shower and bidet, verything neat and tidy!!! Kitchen utensils were still in the original pack, straight from the shelf!!! Fully equipped kitchen :) Even a a toaster and juicer. Coffee, brown sugar, olive oil, cookies, pineapple juice and water in the fridge!!!!!! In our bedroom there were a large balcony windows with the garden view!!! 24h a day we had hot water and portable heaters in case it was cold. What's more - every day when we came back in the evening, our beds were made and clothes folded. There was also manifold of TV programmes in different languages to choose from. The morning after our last night there, we still were allowed to leave our luggage in there, so we could comfortably climb Vesuvius. There was a lot of sunlight in the house!!!! In the garden there was a table, chairs and a large umbrella. The beautiful garden with the orange threes and strawberries, lettuce, peas and beans ! We were allowed to (and even encouraged to) pick the fruits from the trees to squeeze the juice out of them!!!!!!!!! Wonderfull!!!! Finally, owners are great and really welcoming. We are like a family. I recommend the place with all my and my familly heart !!! We will definitely go back to this place!!!!!!!”
