In the night, all you hear is the sound of the jungle. If you need to wind down and relax, this is the place. The staff went out their way to fulfill our requests and create the best possible experience for us. They organized us drivers, a guide to take us hiking, tuk-tuks for shorter trips.. Not to mention served the tastiest food! There are almost no other tourists around - such a big contrast to the busy coastal resorts. The tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka is 15 minutes from the chalet and the staff can advise you on various day hikes. For the level of quality and service that it offers, Treehouse Chalet is a bargain. Hope to be able to return!”

It is an excellent starting point for hiking tours near the Horton Plains National Park. The traditional food is very tasty and the staff and owner are always on hand to give tips, help and advice. They also speak English so communication is not a problem. We greatly enjoyed our time in this quiet hotel in the middle of Sri Lanka‘s beautiful highlands.”
