“This hotel is in a small rural town on an unmade street, 10 mins walk to the town centre. It's impossible to judge the property against European standards. Its a small hotel in a small Mexican town and at £40 per night its great value for money. Rooms were perfectly clean, sheets changed every day etc but things like old blankets and frayed curtains make it different. Breakfast was on the table on the exact time you asked it for. We may have been one of the first international visitors to the place. The owner and her assistant could not be more friendly but they speak very little English”
