“The staff. We arrived very early after a night bus from Ecuador (6am) and we couldn’t check into our room until after 8am. However the lady that greeted us when we arrived, let us have a little nap in the tent on the roof for a few hours until we could check in. Which really helped. She also helped us sort out laundry and was very welcoming and friendly during our whole stay. The beach is very close by. Just behind the hostel.”

“I spent a few days at Teulu. This hidden oasis is well worth the walk and the value. Its off the beaten path. After a short walk up a road then steps up the side of a hill. At quick glance, its not much to see. Once you open the gate, bingo! This hidden gem is nothing short of amazing. Its more like a B&B. The rooms, the staff, the breakfast and Jorge the owner met my every need...two words, 5-star! The view no matter what time of day is spectacular! The breakfast was excellent, and got me off to a great start into Mancora. Its a great retreat for couples, surfers, honeymooners or solo travelers. I will visit them again and again...”

“We booked to stay here for 6 nights and ended up extending by another week! The place is lovely and chilled with a friendly family (Charlie and Wendy) running the place. The pool is really nice, and they also have hammocks which are a lovely bonus! The breakfast is really good and the place is also very clean and tidy. The rooms are big and spacious with a working TV. Good location you can see the beach from outside the main door. 5 min walk to main road with lots of restaurant to choose from. They have 3 dogs also which are so friendly. Would definitely recommend.”
