“Ji the lady running the homestay is the most genuinely and loveliest woman. She made us feel so welcome and took such good care of us. We communicate in English, Thai, signs language and with help of photos or phones. It works and is fun! The homestay is absolutely clean and well equipped with a stunning terrace facing a lake. Perfect for sunrise yoga or a beer with a view in the evenings. Dinner can be ordered at the neighbours kitchen and is very delicious, traditional Thai and super cheap. For breakfast there are some delicious surprises that's all I will say ;) There is a fridge to buy cold drinks based on trust payment. The location is very local. No tourists at all. Which will unfortunately change in a few years as they are planning on building three hotels in the area. So come here as soon as you can to enjoy the authentic, beautiful, delicious, welcoming, Thai, home like experience. Ji will assist you also to rent a scooter if you like. We took the scooter to beaches close to Khao Lak as well as to a Muay Thai boxing school and a waterfall. Free bicycles are available to explore the village or to go to near by beaches. We loved it so much that we will be back for sure. Ps: make sure to bring Mosquitoe spray!”
