• Klostergården lies in the middle of Trondheimsfjord on the island of Tautra, famous for its historic monastery and many bird watching opportunities.

  “Klostergården is a quaint, historical bed and breakfast. It is really lovely. The house is at least 300 years old and has been and continues to be part of a monastery. Everything is old-fashioned and it makes one wonder about all the people that have stayed there and how they lived. There is a shop that sells handmade soaps and the like, but unfortunately it was not open during the time we were there. There are also the ruins of the monastery walls that dates back to 1207 (or around then). The little island that is on is also lovely and perfect for an evening walk.”
