  “The hotel, staff and location were perfect for our needs and stay. We only stayed there for one night as a part of our north east Thailand exploration but it was ideal. As we had a car we drove the 1.5 km to the local night market, where there were bargains galore to be had and a total gastronomic experience from the street food vendors. Could not have had a better night even if it had been free. Well the food was so cheap that it nearly was free. Eg very large chicken satay, marinated chicken breast on a bamboo skewer and cooked perfectly over charcoal, served with dips for 10 baht (about £0.25 at the time of writing. All of the local attractions and temples are within easy reach if you have a car, but it could be a bit of an exercise without one. Probably not for backpackers, having said that in the two days (and one night) that we stayed there I was the only "farang" (foreigner) that I saw. This was at the end of February 2019. If you stay there and have a car then you will not be disappointed.”
