Located at the foot of Mount Hua, Huashan International Youth Hostel is only 50 metres from Mount Hua Scenic Area. The hotel owners were very helpful. I had phone network issue and the owner willingly lent me his local phone to call my telco customer service line. The elderly grandma also helped us hail a taxi after check out so that the taxi driver would not overcharge us. I bought some items from the grandma's stall and she gave me 2 goodluck red string to tie up in Mt Hua. I brought the strings back and turned them into lucky stars instead.
