We were there only for one night prior to a flight back to the US. They had someone right at the hotel doing COVID antigen testing and that was very convenient ($40 pp). The Enterprise/Alamo rental return is only about 2 miles away and therefore very convenient for dropping off our car in the morning. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely though we were not there long enough to use them.

Set in Potrerillos, 40 km from Poas National Park, Casona del Valle offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Very peaceful and huge. The onsite manager last night was great. While I was getting out of the shower I stubbed my toe on the shower door and it started bleeding pretty bad. I asked the manager if she had a bandaid or something like that. She told me to wait and a few minutes later she showed up with a little first aid kit. She took some things out and started tending to my toe. I did not expect her to do all of that but was very grateful
