Hotels in Stöcken, Hannover

This Mercure hotel in the quiet Stöcken district of Hanover offers free private parking, large rooms and a modern fitness centre. Hanover city centre is just a 15-minute drive away. The room was more spacious than it looked in the photos. Our room overlooked a green area, which was nice. When one morning, it snowed, the scenery was beautiful. The bathroom was big, clean and comfortable. Only the wash basin was a bit too high for a short person like me. We were there in December and the central heating worked really well and the room was very warm. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast had enough variety but could have definitely been better. We would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel. We stayed there for 3 days and it was always the same breakfast. Still, it was OK. The parking area in front of the hotel was not small but it was not big enough for all the cars, either. When we couldn't find a free space there, we were told that we could park our car in the car park which was approximately 50 meters away from the hotel entrance. That one was really large enough. Therefore, we had no parking problem. Also, the hotel had a closed car park but it was not free of charge so we did not prefer it. The location of the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and 15 minutes away from Hannover Mitte by car. We didn't like the hotels in the city center for different reasons and preferred this hotel and we were very pleased with our decision. We spent one day in Hannover and went to different towns and cities on other days so being a bit far away from Hannover didn't matter. However, if you don't rent a car, it may not be the best place to stay for you.

This family-run hotel is situated in Schwarze Heide, in the north-eastern outskirts of Hanover, only 4.5 kilometres from the airport, and around 15 minutes from Hanover’s city centre. everything about it was good. location was also fine, there was a public transport bus 5 minutes walking distance. it was very clean, breakfast was very good. wifi was available as well.

Located between the Volkswagen company and the Herrenhausen gardens, this privately run hotel in Hanover offers free Wi-Fi and good tram connections to the city centre. Comfortable bed, my room had a kitchen so I coiuld have prepare the food on my own. My room was very big, with a nice view outside. Good continental breakfest, enough for a short visit. Very nice personnel, (friendly and helpful). Free parking space - enough big). This is a small hotel, where the owner cares that all goeas smooth. The location of the hotel is very convenient- you can easily dtive by car, and the public transport (just 100 m away from the nearest tram stop).
