This is a kind of place where you artive as a guest and leave as a friend. Hassan's commitment to his guests is truly inspiring. He is always available for any questions and advice, and yet is always diplomatic and soft-spoken. Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Rose Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was a really great experience. The accommodation was exceptional! From the moment of greeting to the final farewell, everything was great. Gaba was a really good host, and helped with everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with good views of the surroundings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. He makes you feel as a part of the community and we made a good friend! If you encounter problems he is always there to help :) They make a fire in the garden every night and we could spend time with the host, the staff and other guests and share precious times together. The location was also perfect if you are looking for a quiet time to relax with easy access to the best sights in the west bank. Gaba helped us always and organized transportation to the east bank for us. He also organized the travel for us to Aswan and Abu Simbel. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone and will definitely be coming back! This was our first stay in Egypt and it was a welcoming and great experience! Thank you a lot Gaba!

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. The hotel is very convenient to visiting Luxor, it is in great location on a quiet street. It is on the West bank of the Nile, very close to the main attractions, but East bank is also accessible easily by the ferry. Our room was very comfortable, staff very friendly and we had amazing food both for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend.

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The owner made us feel very welcomed in the hotel and arranged us private activities through Luxor for the both days of our stay for a very reasonable price. Besides, the food was marvelous. It was home cooked by a very sympathetic staff member. It wasn’t an inconvenience staying in the west bank, we were able to easily move around in the private tour for the east bank, visiting temples, Luxor museum and local shops

Rooms are comfortable and clean. All place is clean and safe. Its beautiful view from roof taras. I recommend this place.
