The BEST hotel manager you can ever meet! Hassan is an incredible person who genuinely cares about his guests and tries to make them happy in every possible way. This is a kind of place where you artive as a guest and leave as a friend. Hassan's commitment to his guests is truly inspiring. He is always available for any questions and advice, and yet is always diplomatic and soft-spoken. Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Rose Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The place is really authentic and very relaxing. Gabalawy the owner is extremely nice and very helpful and always wearing a wide friendly smile on his face. The food is wonderful and tasty. The rooms are clean, nice and the beds are comfortable. Have been talking about this experience all the time since we left. Will definitely go there again.

It a great quiet place to stay when visiting the West bank of Luxor. Swimming poll with jacuzzi and great view of the Nile. Super comfy beds and wide rooms. Great cook! Impecable areas, rooms and toilettes. Personal super friendly and fast.

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

Surrounded by landscaped gardens, Al Baeirat Hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. Featuring a swimming pool, a shopping arcade and a 24-hour front desk that offers ironing services. This is a lovely place with spectacular views over the Nile. The rooms are in very nice separate bungalows, which provides privacy and quiet, and the pool is lovely. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel provides free boat transfers across the Nile on demand. On one night there was a free one-hour sunset cruise which was a very nice touch. They also organised a sunrise balloon ride which was magical.

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was really better than I expected. If you are into nature this is just perfect. Very quiet and peaceful surrounding. There is a garden outside where you can see the sunset and the stars at night. This is a perfect hotel to stay when you come back from a day tour and want to relax without going out. Restaurant always available and the breakfast is great. 2 days I had to leave before 7 so sayeed prepared me my breakfast box at 5:30 am so I. An take with me !! The staff is very nice and you really have this feeling of being at home. If I came back to luxor will be definetly staying here again. Thanks sayeed and Hamde you are so kind 🤍

Its really good place to take rest after sightseeing. Hotel run by two brothers who are always willing to help and advice on local tourist attractions. I recommend specially:) morning balloon flight. Rooms are comfortable and clean. All place is clean and safe. Its beautiful view from roof taras. I recommend this place.
