The room was exceptionally clean and well designed. I loved the light fixtures and the colors in the room. The shower water pressure was really nice and the toiletries provided were good quality. The breakfast spread was the best I've ever seen. I'm vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. My favorite was the beans and falafel and I had a bowl of blueberry oats, greek yogurt were the berry puree. The staff was very warm and would greet me as they passed by me.

Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Interesting architecture (old prison), great facilities, wonderful location and very friendly staff. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Good value for money too (winter time)

Central location while very quiete and pleasant. the staff was very nice and efficient. easy and seamless check in and check out. rooms are nice and large with enough outside light. bathroom is spacious.

Well situated in Helsinki, Hotel Mestari offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Firstly, the breakfast! It’s one of the best we’ve had at a hotel, simply superb! The bed was so comfortable, room was a good size, big screen tv, bathroom great, nice decor, location was walking distance to everything pretty much (10mins to city centre) and a short taxi to the Tallink Ferry.

Located by the waterfront of Katajanokka, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in 1920s Art Nouveau building and offers free WiFi, sauna, gym and a 24-hour on-site shop. Very nice hotel with spacious and well equipped rooms. Spotless clean, comfy bed, excellent breakfast. Very helpful reception. We've stayed there a couple of times due to its location near Katajanokka ferry terminal and definitely will visit again.
