Relaxed and hip spot. We can‘t wait to go back in summer!

Built by King Edward VII in 1877 for his mistress, Lillie Langtry, this listed Edwardian manor is a 5-minute walk from Bournemouth's cliff tops and approximately 1 mile from Bournemouth town centre. A delightful hotel which was formerly a house belonging to actress Lillie Langtry. Our room was comfortable and a good size. Bathroom rather small, but not too bad. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood just a short 10/15-minute walk from the beaches. Also close to the train station. Excellent taxi service.

Situated on Southbourne clifftop and opposite a sandy Blue Flag beach, The Spyglass & Kettle by Greene King Inns is only a 10-minute drive from Bournemouth city centre and features free on-site... The winning ingredient here is Jo and the staff, all very warm and friendly. Food was good and lovely atmosphere of a proper British pub. We stayed over New Year meeting up as a family and had a great time, and if I'd known there was regular roster of evening entertainers and singers we'd have booked some extra days.
