This small boutique hotel is located in quite area of Kyoto, close to the imperial palace. The staff made our stay very pleasant and were always ready to accommodate any request or questions we had. The rooms where large even by western standards, more than 40 m2 and the bathroom with the tub was wonderful. Also it in a very quiet location so there is no noise of any kind.

アナザースカイ京都二条城 features air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kinugasa. Perfect location. Close to Emmachi train station which was ideal for us as JRPass users.

Excellent location, 300m from metro (Kyoto bus w/luggage is a pain) so station is easy. Imperial palace is next door. Silent street. Host is friendly, room is indeed spacious, furnished tastefully. Lots of wall sockets. Microwave, fridge is good to have. Openable window, balcony.

The place is wonderful and looks as a typical Japanese house. The owners are incredibly kind, they welcomed me in the best way ever, explaining me everything about the stay and giving me tips about the city of Kyoto. They can speak many languages as Japanese, English, Italian, Spanish and probably more so the communication wouldn’t be a problem for you. The hotel is located in a very quite are of the city just outside the city-center so perfect to sleep in a white place but also well connected with the touristic areas with buses. The common area is just amazing, about cleaning is perfect and the structure is very technological! If I’ll be back to Kyoto, sure I’ll stay here again, I recommend 100%.
