The staff were so welcoming and extremely helpful with any request we had, from recommending and booking resturants for us to arranging taxi's. Would definetly stay again in the future and have already recommended it to my other friends.

Situated within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were without question the best hosts we've had in a while. Their care and help were outstanding and the house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home for our nine nights, I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help us with our questions! I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering to visit Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.

Attractively situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa is located 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1 km from Heian Shrine and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo Station.... Great hotel, at a great location. The metro station is a step away, all major attractions are between 15 to 30 minutes of walk or a few minutes by car/taxi. The staff was amazing (polite, helpful and always with a smile). The room and all the facilities were beyond my expectations. Definitely recommend for solo or couple travelers.
