This iconic and colonial-style hotel, built in 1864, boasts a spa and a saltwater pool with sun loungers that faces the vast Indian Ocean. Beautiful historic hotel. Pool/beachside area is lovely. Great place to relax. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Spa was also great and pricing quite reasonable for a hotel spa - recommend!

Amazing value for money, full use of a first floor apartment which even included a washing machine Dam was an excellent host, felt like we were staying with family- cooked us a delicious breakfast, offered us a free ride to Galle Fort, advising us what to do for our 1 day in Galle, then dropped us off at the bus station after we checked out
