Attractively set in the Macau Centre district of Macau, City Inn Macau is situated 700 metres from Dom Pedro V Theatre, 1.2 km from Lilau Square and 1.2 km from Mandarin's House. I recently had a very good one night stay here finding the property to be nicer than expected and great value for money compared to the older midrange hotels found in this area of the Macau Peninsula. Reservation was made just a couple days before my over from HK. Rates were very competitive. Upon arrival shortly after 2pm, I was checked in expediently and provided smart key to my room. Lobby space is a bit small but the team was able to manage left luggage for those wanting to explore the city a bit longer before leaving Macau after check-out. Location wise, the hotel is just around 20 metres west of the Hong Kung Temple along a historic old street, around 6-8 minutes walk from the Historic Centre of Macau. It is very near to Sofitel at Ponte 16 as well if you are seeking out reference points for finding the property. With a decent street map of Macau, it is easy enough to locate. As for the room, think modern and functional. Space is fair, desk fit nicely into the wall next to the cleverly designed closet, flat screen tv mounted on the wall to allow more walking space towards bathroom. Room lighting is good, automatic curtain opener is a nice touch. Wifi worked well throughout my stay. Didn't try the A/C. TV has a few English channels. Bed is medium firm but generally comfortable. Both firm and soft pillows (not something you often find in a two-star property). Room included hair-dryer, kettle with coffee & tea, in-room safe. Overall, City Inn definitely receives my nod of approval based on my first stay there. Simply put, this is a newer property that is smartly designed and modern, they are offering very good stays at similar or even lower room rates than many of the older hotels around the city centre. City Inn is a place I am very happy to stay at again during trips visits to Macau

Well situated in the centre of Macau, Hotel Lisboa offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 5-star hotel offers free shuttle service and room service. the family room is HUGE! there are 2 toilets and 2 rooms with a spacious sitting area. The toiltries are from Hermes and everything in the bar area is complimentary. Extra mineral water bottles and iron are provided upon requested. Excellent service. There is a connecting bridge to the new hotel Lisboa which is very convenient. walk to ruins st paul is about 15 mins. not too far as there are many shops to walk around. Hotel provides a free shuttle service to macau hong kong ferry terminal for our ferry out to hong kong.

Mandarin Oriental, Macau is located on the Peninsula, a 5-minute drive from A-Ma Temple and Senado Square. Concierge was far beyond expectations. It was my first time visiting Macau and first international business trip after I started a new job two months ago. So I was nervous and the concierge was very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable and I cannot forget how wonderfully they treated us.
