Newly Renovated Hotel Tibet features boutique-style rooms in Kathmandu. Located behind Narayanhiti Palace Museum, the hotel has its own restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine. Nice terrace with delicious food. Quite area not far from Thamel shopping area. I felt very welcome.

Hotel Shanker-Palatial Heritage Kathmandu is located in Kathmandu, next to Narayanhiti Palace Museum. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool and spa. There is not one negative thing I could say about this hotel. Everything was positive, from the friendly and helpful staff to the food and the spa service all was exceptional.

This was the third time I have stayed in this property. It feels like you are in your own home. Staffs are very friendly, accommodating, caring and courteous. Let me give you an example of its caring staff. “For the breakfast, they serve you with two slices of toasts. Since I was cutting down carbs, I asked the lady at front desk to send me only one slice of toast because I didn’t want to waste food. After few days, she brought me two slices of toasts and told me that the size of the bread on that particular day was kind of smaller, and she thought one smaller piece wouldn’t be enough. That just brought a big smile in my face.” Even the dog at the property is so kind, it likes to welcome all the guests each time they arrive. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Nepal.

Hotel Manaslu enjoys a quiet yet central location in Kathmandu, just 7 km away from Tribhuvan International Airport. Guests can swim and relax at the outdoor pool surrounded by landscaped gardens. Hotel staff were excellent starting with Rabindra. Since we were leaving early in the morning, he even organised takeaway breakfast for us.
