Easy to get to and awesome instructions provided by the caretaker. Wonderful service, beautiful grounds and view, friendly people, and quiet aside from the frogs. But that's not really something that can be controlled. Rooms were cool, and the provided coffee was appreciated~

Also has a steamroom within the shower a nice touch comfortable beds amazing facilities, fully fitted kitchen, everything you could need washing machine & tumble dryer. Sandra has catered for everything you could possibly need, including Wi-Fi & Netflix etc. Visits from Sandra’s cats & five chickens, even wild chickens, also saw wild pigs and goats, As Sandra grows lots of fruit in her garden we were able to try custard apples and fresh papaya which was Amazing, also Fresh eggs from the chickens, unfortunately we didn’t get to try the pineapples as they weren’t quite ripe. Such a shame, even the artwork on the walls was painted by Sandra herself - a Great artist

You definitely need a car to enjoy the Big island, but the location is Kona offers lots of advantages. There is a supermarket close-by, there are beautiful beaches at 15-20 minutes driving distance and the Kona harbor is 10-15 minutes away. We’ve chosen the studio which offers plenty of room and has a nice terrace, you will definitely enjoy your morning coffee or dinner there.
