We had a lovely size room in a remarkable hotel, with a small, comfortable lounge space and plenty of space for the three of us. The bathroom was a reasonable size although considering the size of the rest of our room it felt slightly small... but was more than adequate. The hotel felt like it was in the centre of the city and was well located for all that we needed, the lobby is clearly a bit of a gem and we ventured up to the top floor to have a look at the incredible ballroom and see the spectacular views from the top floor. The car park was just behind the hotel and very easy to get to and from.

Although the room was nice, it smelled and had very little natural light. Disappointing for a suite!

The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up.
The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up. It had plenty of space and 2 separate ac/heat units so we were able to keep both rooms at the perfect temps. The shower was great for pressure and hot water settings. The room had 2 big tv’s and living room side had plenty of seats and a great couch as well.
There is a club attached to the hotel with live music which was great and the hotel had a small bar with an amazing Bartender. He was funny and could hold a great conversation with all of us at the bar of all ages. The price for drinks wasn’t too bad either.
Some of the things I didn’t like was the pricey breakfast as they do not have a buffet style you have to order individual items off a menu. It cost us $50 for 2 people to have breakfast and a coffee. Also the pillows on the bed were not that great, they could use an upgrade for the price you pay to stay here.
All in all it was a fun hotel stay and was great to see all the staff smiling and willing to help/answer anyone’s questions. The hotel is run by good people you can tell by the quality of the staff. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip back to RI.

Providence is an amazing art and culture city that has a million things to do, from big museums, a large mall and great restaurants, all the way to small book stores, bars and galleries tucked away everywhere. Plus, it's small and you can experience the city, the beach, the forest, all of Rhode Island quickly and easily. Plus, a great LGBTQ+ scene in a very accepting environment

The trip was great!
The trip was great! A weekend is a nice amount of time to spend. The food is really good, try Nicks on Broadway and sit at the bar to watch the kitchen. The zoo is wonderful, make sure you ask when the elephants will be inside. Gather Glass was another stop to make ornaments, really great group and a fun experience. Would highly recommend Providence for a weekend stay!

Providence is a nice small city with several universities, including Brown, which we went to for a graduation. It is very manageable to walk around, is very proud of its old buildings (many old homes) and protects them with historic preservation status. Many have plaques with names and dates of construction.
It is also near Newport, Wickford, and Jamestown and all the history associated with those port cities and their wealthy patrons.

I hate staying in hotels that are small, old and off the beaten path. The Dean hotel is all those but I loved it. From the original floor to the outstanding attitudes of the workers, I wish I could have stayed longer. They were so helpful in telling me some good places to eat and see. I will surely stay there again the next time I'm in Providence. I can't say enough about this hotel. You have to experience it to know what I'm saying. Make sure you eat at Murphey's pub which is right next door. The house pickles are fantastic and I can't say when I've had better fish and chips. Take the time to walk downtown and see the sights . So much better than driving.
Very central location, many restaurants easily accessible by walking. Elvis is a very friendly host, always happy to help. The place is super quiet and the common areas are very clean, independent of the time of the day or night. I would always book this place again for another visit. The bus station is only a 10 minute walk away from Elvis' house if you want to explore Rhode Island.
The overall experience at the Hilton in Providence was enjoyable that resulted in a comfortable stay during our weekend vacation. The staff was helpful and was able to help with any questions or reasonable requests while we were in our room. The room atmosphere was also comfortable with a larger size television compared to most hotels and a desk in the two-bedroom room.
The room was a surprise: large and spacious, bordering on too big. The service staff was very kind and easy to talk to.
The breakfast was ample, though missing an option here or there.
The parking was right next door(I used the private lot because my vehicle was too large).
The location downtown was nice.
Nothing at all!! The only thing we liked was leaving the hotel and letting the front desk representative know what we just experienced. The front desk representative was very courteous and considerate to experience. I'm seeking a complete refund for this booking at the Extended Stay America Suites.
Luz and her husband were very helpful, welcoming and super friendly! I felt like if I met close friends far far away from home!
The room is clean with a lot of light which I love, very spacious with a fridge and AC if you need. If I visit Providence again will definitely stay at this place again ☀️
The hotel was exteemely convenient for getting to and from the Amtrak station (10 or 15 minute walk). Staff was helpful and professional. The hotel was also very convenient for seeing the sights in Providence and near good restaurants. Also having the coffee shop in the hotel was very handy.
Very pleasant hotel in downtown Providence. It is a more traditional hotel, with slightly old fashined look, which is part of its charm and character. We had a Junior suite, which has a sitting area and a sleeping area - very comfrotable and pleasant layout and an excellent bed.
Unfortunately i didn't take advantage of the breakfast so i can't comment on it at the moment. However, the property is centrally located, which makes it perfect for everyone from business personnel to family as close to the mall, downtown businesses and food establishment..
Enormous room for a hotel, with full kitchen, enormous bed, very clean and well-kept. Staff was very polite during every interaction, close proximity to city center for enjoying Providence.
Very centrally located and easy to reach Brown and other places. Connected to Providence place mall which while not big city level does have the Apple Store, Zara and other stores
I liked the decor and the private rooms as well as the size of the room. The location was very close to downtown Providence and had a 711, Dunkin, McDonald’s, etc for quick grabs.
What a great hotel! It is iconic in the downtown of Providence Rhode Island. Everything is within walking distance. The convenience is unbelievable and the staff was fantastic.
The breakfast was just okay, it did not match the hotel. There could have been more hot choices, especially items like scrambled eggs, which you can get at much cheaper hotels.
