Delightful accommodation in peaceful surroundings enabled us to have a wonderful break in Barmouth. We stopped in Penty Mochyn for a week in mid-January, and had a great time. We were provided with informative correspondence prior to our arrival by our hosts Jan & Mick, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful with advice on local amenities and places to visit - including the shortcut directly to the beach! Our holiday barn was first-class, spotlessly clean, modern and relaxing; the view out to the sea was superb. We enjoyed an excellent holiday and Penty Mochyn is definitely highly recommended!

We loved everything !! The location is perfect, there is so much space for a family and you have all the facilities and more ! We have never stayed at a self catering holiday where we have been supplied with so much ! And the the doggy package was super cool!

We were able to park right next to the house too. Side note, perhaps we could have been clearer in regards to what we require, first time going away with a baby. I did mention that we have an 18 month old, but we had to find the cot on our own. It was a positive that it had a mattress though. The blinders could have been darker, as kids go to sleep earlier and darkness helps. We would still definitely go back, we got great value for money!! Hotel; Great location…probably the best in Barmouth. Great parking. Great front garden area, overlooking the sea front, ideal for travellers with dogs, outside under cover heated areas too where families can enjoy a drink, plenty of seating area, children can use the play area whilst parents can supervise.
