The staff were excellent, polite cheerful nothing too much trouble. Our stay was extremely comfortable. The room was nice and warm the bed very comfortable would have loved to stay longer. The food was excellent and a good selection for breakfast. Good position.

Our stay at the Harper was above our expectations, we were blown away! An incredible place to stay, staff super friendly - especially John on the front desk! Everything was quality, from the bedsheets, food, to the sole use of the spa and we look forward to staying again!

The second key to the property required my husband to climb up using a flower pot to retrieve it! It was very centrally located and we especially enjoyed being able to pop next door to the delicatessen to buy breakfast! The decor had a heavy accent on poppies but the kitchen was very well equipped. Would be most suitable for a family with older children/young teens due to it's rather quirky layout.

I was grateful for the owner contacting me to confirm this. The accommodation was an old cottage and everything we would expect from one having owned old properties ourselves in the past. They aren’t in “perfect” condition, this is part of their beauty! I found it to be clean, comfortable and the location was perfect just up from the quay.
