The location is also central to exploring many other villages and gardens for short day trips. The kitchen is large and modern, and the sunroom overlooking the garden was our go to place for eating breakfast and drinking tea in the evenings. Having four updated bathrooms was wonderful for our group of ladies, as well! Tracy, the owner, always responded immediately if we had questions. We met Julie when she came to put the rummage bins out, and she was very friendly and delightful, too.

the staff were amazing. they had just experienced a kitchen fire three weeks before our arrival so unfortunately the dining room was closed. they took great care of us and made breakfast arrangements at a nearby hotel. we could just imagine what the ambiance would have been had they been fully operational. would love to return just to see how they are making out. one if the nicest and warmest experiences we have had.
