We were staying because of family funeral nearby and they made our room available early so that we could freshen up and change clothes after our journey. We ate lunch which was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The room was beautifully done with lovely views. Felt so welcome and would recommend to everyone both for food and staying. There are gardens and plenty of parking. Superb outside facilities for special events.

We were intrigued to hear from the fabulous manageress - herself a real gem - about the hotel’s/resort’s history as part of the Camelot theme park (now defunct).
