Easy to get to the Hotel. Easy to get into Edinburgh centre on the local bus, stops just outside. Breakfast good and we liked the pizza from the restaurant. Pet friendly and family friendly. We had a few requests when booking and they were able to accommodate all of them. Loved the room layout as an l shape with the children around the corner for their earlier bedroom.

Great location (central, not noisy), swimming pool included (with lift from pool to rooms), perfect stay for families with small children (the extra bed for the children was probably the best we found so far in terms of safety, cleanliness and comfort). The restaurant is expensive, but at least we found live music.

Some of the staff were really lovely and helpful. Tye breakfast was amazing, a highlight of our trip the kids loved it! (3&4yrs) there was also a table full of easter craft stuff which we really appreciated, I was alone with 2 children and baby so this was soooo useful as they did some crafts while I fed baby. Nice and modern and clean. View of Edinburgh Castle from the room was lovely.

The kitchen is well equipped with utensils ,oven, microwave, washing machine, water boiler, enough dishwares, basic needs like salt, and there are enough beds and even one extra bed for us. Each room has a tv and the location is as described not far from the Edinburgh princess street about 18 - 20 minutes walk. The price is affordable for a family of 6 including elderly and 3 kids. An extra blanket is provided.

This is the second time we've stayed at Dalmahoy and we love this family friendly hotel and the facilities. The room was great and the hotel were able to provide a roll-away bed for our young child, free of charge. We enjoy the breakfast spread at Dalmahoy and the kids love the pool. We also make use of the quiet hour for adults in the evening to use the sauna. The cocktail bar was a lovely relaxing place to dine and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there after our swim. We'll definitely be back.
