With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at the hotel also offer free WiFi.

What a find! Unbelievable value for money compared to what else you can get within 45 minutes drive of there. The room I had was absolutely lovely and spotlessly clean. I had one of the rooms that are on the back of the building, with an absolutely wonderful view for miles and miles of the fields to the rear, and with the sun shining on the fields it really was a sight for sore eyes! The road to the front of the hotel although not busy, is a fast road so I am sure that I would not have been as comfortable in a room on the front of the building, but that is just my personal preference. The cherry on top of the icing on the top of the cake is that there is an amazing Nepalese restaurant downstairs, that is very popular and busy and serves beautiful food. All the staff I spoke with are a credit to the business too. I can see that the place is still a work in progress and could see that work was ongoing to the terrace at the rear of the property. So, well done Earl David Hotel and keep on re-investing profits back into the building to improve your overall offering further. I would definitely stay here again. I do not normally leave reviews. The hotel has to be either very good, or very bad for me to bother. Earl David Hotel deserves the time spent to write this review....

Attentive staff, nice enough room,, fabulous large bath. Dustant view of Cairngorms was nice. Direct view of a room roof underneath. The gym, sauna ans jacuzzi was really good and indoor pool, but a pool party for kids. So we had to wait an hour. Breakfast was amazing, good choices, including veggie .

The superior family room was a brilliant size, two adults and two teenagers and there was plenty of room for us all. It was clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely although not offered any toast to have whilst we waited for our food, which was top notch and freshly cooked btw, nor when our breakfast arrived.

I was in the original building, which was the home of one of the Nairn families in the 1930's. (My mother used to work in the family home when I was a child!) It had olde worlde charm, beautiful old decor, carpets, staircases and bay windows overlooking the grounds. The deer even visited at breakfast time.

Great friendly staff, good breakfast, we stayed in a garden room and it was lovely, patio doors opening out onto a beautiful, large lawned area with woods for the kids to explore. The swimming pool was great for kids, 1.2m depth the entire length, which meant I could sit at the side and watch without worrying about the less capable swimmers. The family room was huge, the bathroom was great with separate shower and bath. Kids are already asking when we can go back.

Room was very spacious for a family of 6. One large double, one single and then bunkbeds with a single on top and a double below. Location is good for travelling about, we went to Dundee, Broughty Ferry, St Andrews and a few local locations within no time. Local coop for supplies Local chippy was tasty and reasonable prices. Local park was great for kids to burn off some energy. The TV in the room was smart so I could cast my screen from my phone but as I said, no WiFi.
