The place was very clean the host was very accommodating had a great breakfast every morning room cleaned every day probably the best b&b I've stayed in I've stayed at a few over the years I would highly recommend to any one wanting to stay in Southend already booked another room with them for September looking forward to staying there again

The apartment was beautifully clean, decor was great, and we had everything we needed and more. It is so lovely. On arrival there was milk in the fridge, as well as cold drinks. A bag of ice in the freezer! Wow they had thought of everything. There was also a bowl of fresh fruit in the living room. The apartment is bright and spacious. With off street parking. Seriously what more could you want. Honestly I would score 11 if I could. It was a short walk to the high street, where there are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs. We booked for our sons wedding, which was postponed, but we decided to have a short break anyway, so pleased we did. Definitely booking for next year.

They did their very level best to have us settled and comfortable, considering the fact that booking.com let us down. Booking.com allowed us to book room that wasn’t available plus made mistake in our booking. We booked for two night but only got one and booking.com left us to sort ourselves out. Fantastic location, the owner has stocked up with more than the basics so we were really able to be comfortable without having to make much effort. He’d even thought of small children, with plastic plates and crockery for them to use. They’ve not cut corners either on utensils, appliances and soft furnishings, so can’t speak highly enough of this property and the effort made to make me and my family feel welcome and comfortable.
