The rooms are decorated by a professional interior designer, amazing and still very cosy. The bathrooms are deluxe. And the decor around the whole property is wow. The bar/ restaurant was fab - great food and drinks. More like a big, cosy dinning room. And the people are wonderful.

The owner was amazing. She communicated quickly and with great instructions how to find the house and how to get in. The property was cute and very clean. It had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer which was needed since we were on a road trip. The two bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well appointed and the living room had a comfortable sofa and it included plenty of tv options. The owner even thoughtfully left us a small box of chocolates. The location was right in town and made it easy to get around. I wish we could have had more time to enjoy the cottage. I would stay at this cottage again, and I highly recommend it.

what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

We’ve spent almost a month in Scotland - and this was by far our favorite place to stay! Debbie, our host, was delightful and made the stay feel as if you are visiting in the home of a good friend. The room was warm and comfortable. There were nice details they thought of that included a refrigerator, robes, and fluffy towels. The breakfast was amazing- made to order with eggs from their chickens and cut up fresh fruit. We’d recommend this B & B to anyone staying near Stirling.

We did like family friendly enviroment both in the hotel and the pub. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect for a quiet or family stay, outside the busy town and on the way to the Safari Park. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, had all the essentials for a good night stay. The food in the pub was fresh, healthy and delicious and the atmosphere was cosy and lovely. A play corner kept kids busy and made our visit easier. Very happy customer. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent central location in a quiet street just off the main route to the train station (6 min walk). Breakfast was cooked to order and went down well with all of the family. The family room was ideal for us - main room for us and a smaller partitioned room to allow the 2 kids to sleep in a bunk bed (great fun once the winner gets to choose the top bunk!). Good places to eat out within easy walking distance (10mins max). Also short cut to the Castle (15min walk max). Richard was a wonderful host and we would defintiely stay there again.

Perfect for a long family stay. Alison was so helpful and looked after us despite being busy. The building itself is great with clean and modern facilities. Well equipped kitchen. All the children's essentials required for staying away are available. Location very good for driving to various places in Central Scotland. Also locally it is really fun to explore along the farm tracks. We can't wait to go back next year for another visit.

We liked the location and value for money. The staff were also very friendly with us. Our baby daughter is messy as all kids are but she is extremely loud which can be very embarrassing for us but they spoke away to us and made a few jokes which made us feel a bit better. Lovely family run homely feel to the place. Highly recommended

A place with tradition and history, and very helpful staff. It's good to see an affordable manor type/ town centre hotel still within the value and family price bracket, and offering a stylish alternative to the budget hotel chains. The restaurant was very pleasant, and breakfast functional, friendly and ample.

We had a brilliant stay at the Stirling highland hotel. It was a discounted rate so it was excellent value. We loved the pool & the food was excellent for the price. Location is perfect and it’s a short walk to the shops etc. I had my young child with me & I was impressed how family friendly the hotel is. Definitely will return!

Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Great location in town, courtesy car park was welcome. Travel cot request was promptly met, and rooms although quite basic was very child friendly. Bath and shower again a must for family and water temperature and pressure good. Restaurant food and breakfast more than adequate and reasonably priced with stay. Would certainly stay again.
