This was high end restaurant cooking at a fraction of the price. Alan was an excellent host and was the only member of the team we met. It was a little awkward at first to get a smile from him but after spending some time chatting he was great company, offered good advice and very funny. We were there cycling and Alan locked the bikes away for us in his garage and got them out in the morning.
