The place was amazing, situated within trees in a quiet place away from the noise of the streets of Kandy. Our room had an amazing view of the city, really spacious (we had the one at the top) well equipped and good WiFi (the router was inside our room)! Kushana and Poornima will make you feel like family right away. Kushana was so kind to pick me up from the train station, and then they made me some lunch. The room was huge, with a private bathroom, and the views from the private terrace are BEAUTIFUL! They gave me the best tips about what to do around Kandy, and the next day Kushana drove me and a couple other guests to a tea plantation, an ayurvedic town and the botanical gardens. On my last day, Kushana gave me a private tour to Sigiriya and Dambulla. It’s quite a long drive, but we had so much fun talking non stop and joking! Breakfast is delicious, and i also had dinner a couple times there, also very good! As a solo female traveler, i highly appreciate how much they cared about me and my safety. Kushana, Poornima, thank you for being a home away from home! I hope to be back soon!
