A centrally located, modern hostel where family rooms can also be booked. Despite the location in the middle of the city center, it was quiet at night. The facility is quite new and well maintained. Good beds. The sanitary facilities are shared with the other guests; there is a large common room with easy supplies. An underground car park is also available.

Well located near the port, scenery from my hotel room is amazing. The service crew is professional, and the lobby is nicely decorated with Halloween themed stuff, I love the piano that plays itself so much. Both 7/11 and Family mart nearby. Restaurants can also be reached in about ten minutes walk.

Very well located near the night market. We stayed 2 nights in a quadruple room with our teenagers and it was very confortable and spacious. The towels were replaced but the room wasn’t cleaned nor the beds were done. Breakfast not provided but the common kitchen was equipped with cups, plates and cutlery and free flow of biscuits, breads, cereal, coffe, tea, milk, butter and jam, crisps and lollipops were available. Staff was nice and welcoming although very quiet.

For those who want to experience how a Taiwanese hotel was like thirty years ago, one definitely needs to go to this (nowadays) vintage hotel. The facilities are exactly as they were three or four decades ago, the staff also seems to be hanging around over there ever since. Enjoy to practice your Chinese with the ladies of the hotel, and have fun finding out whether you can rinse your clothes after washing. Definitely a special experience with Taiwanese culture!
