Fortunately, we found an amazing hot pot restaurant serving lamb and lots of vegetables just within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. That dinner was absolutely impressive. The rooms have international plug adapter- which is the first we’ve seen in our two weeks trip around Taiwan! It is a child friendly accommodation with activities for kids. After my arrival I found out the ferry service from Budai Port to Magong island had been cancelled. He took me to a Family Mart and processed a plane ticket for me. I had no idea this was possible. He also arranged my taxi for next day to the airport. Excellent customer service.

Lovely style of hotel, comfortable twin room. Beds were fine, it has a bath with a shower overhead rather than a shower cubicle. It met our needs well for a one night stay. If you're visiting Alishan I would recommend going to the FamilyMart opposite the hotel and buying your bus tickets in advance from the FamiPort machine - the store staff are kind and will help you if you can't read Chinese.

I got the corner room hence noise pollution was not an issue (the insulation isn't that good as you can hear people talking in the corridor).
