All their communication was prompt and in the face of some travel difficulties, made us feel so well cared for. The owner even took us out the night of our stay to different locations to view the famous Matsu blue tears. In 15 years of living in and traveling around Taiwan, the experience of fantastic service along with a lovely, tasteful, well designed facility make it to the top of our list for best places to stay.

Booking this property was a mistake. the idea of staying next to the sea was appealing and sounded like a good adventure. But the photos were misleading and didn’t show the poorly maintained tents which were molded, leaking and with no opening windows. The community bathrooms were filthy and the bedding didn’t look as if it had been changed and the breakfast microwaved to death. The staff were nice, easy going young people.

Fantastic charming old house in a beautiful village in Matsu Beigan Island. This place is so peaceful and relaxing. Hosts were very nice and helpful; they didn't speak much English but we managed to understand each other well. The owner welcomed me at the airport with his car. And later he even offered me a ride to the nearby village of Qiaozi. I will surely come back.
