We were caught in the earthquake and we had to stay another day. The hosts took such great care of us and helped us with arrangements to leave Hualien - giving us lifts to the train stations, checking train times and possible routes. The owners are very hospitable and friendly! They really go out of their way to make sure that you’re comfortable and happy. I asked one of the owners if they had a recommendation for food close by and she promptly asked if beef noodle soup was ok. I said yes and she proceeded to walk me around the corner to the restaurant , but they were closed as were most other restaurants we tried to go to because of Chinese New Year. I mentioned to her that we would just order something from Uber Eats. As we were about to order, she approached us and asked if we wanted dumplings that she could prepare. We gratefully accepted her offer and the rest is history! Very nice people that i will never forget! Thanks again for the wonderful experience!
