Make sure to stay for the braai where you spend an evening with Andy and the other guests - it’s an experience like no other. We will definitely come back!

impeccably clean. tastefully decorated. well prepared for load shedding with battery operated lamps, and now with an inverter that allows all lights and wifi to remain on when electricity is shut down. I wrote ahead of time to let them know I was vegan and they provided non-dairy milk and vegan patties for breakfast! I stayed in the double room, and it had a bathtub AND shower. there was also a fridge in the room ( I don’t think that was mentioned in booking)

The rooms were clean and beautiful overlooking the garden. Thank you to Jan for welcoming us. We will definitely stay here again, when in the area.

I just didn't like being forced to sit at a table right next to a family with 3 noisy small children just because the waiters all wanted the tables they were serving to be close to one another. We loved the canoeing and swimming in the pool. And our request for a special table for dinner (it was our wedding anniversary) was successful, making our evening even more special. The food was delicious and service was very good.

He helped us out wherever he could, offered free fruits for our toddler when we had a long drive ahead … We had nice and fun conversations. And had to promise to come back if we would have twins, haha. - Ernest is their cook and we really loved him. The Clubhouse was a lifesaver with a generator in loadshedding to eat , it is also affordable. Goose Valley has great facilities for the kids. The house itself has everything you need, altho does not have a dishwasher. Does have a washing machine - I would add a dishwasher and move the washing machine out onto the balcony. Has wifi and DSTV and everything was in working order.
