Situated in the countryside, this typical Cantabrian house is set in Herrán, 800 metres from Santillana del Mar historic town and within driving distance from Altamira Caves.

Offering mountain views, each room at Posada Herrán features rustic-style furniture, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. It was super cozy. A lovely place indeed. The view from the window was like a peaceful picture, but real.

Rooms at the Solana are comfortable and bright. They have an en suite bathroom, heating and a TV. The hotel has a café-bar, serving fresh local produce for breakfast. There are also gardens, a terrace and a children’s play area. a little difficult to find the hotel from the address but very comfortable stay in a beautiful town on the Camino del Norte.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. It also offers apartments located 800 metres from the main building. A hotel of character! Excellent facilities, building and staff. Would certainly return.

This typically-Cantabrian hotel is surrounded by verdant lawns, just 300 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops of Suances, on Spain’s Green Coast. Suances Beach is 250 metres away. There is a 24-hour gym and a seasonal outdoor hot tub. Everything. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff very attentive and food was excellent.

This 3-star hotel offers barbecue facilities. The hotel has a hot tub, a concierge service and free WiFi. I went to San Sebastian de Garabandal and the very high mountain road located exactly there,allowed me to walk for the fours hours to San Sebastian de Garabandal on this very high mountain path.
