The views of Lake Como were incredible. Sitting well above the road, the only real man-made sounds were the distant boats and faint church bells from across the lake. We loved the stillness, especially at night. It was great to meet the actual owner, and his daughter was most helpful communicating with us leading up to, and during, our stay. It was just a short drive to Bellagio and ever shorter to other ferry locations. Watching the two donkeys wander the property was pretty cool too.

Everything! The property is beautiful, with great outdoor spaces to sit and relax. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was outstanding! Fantastic host!! Be sure and get directions from property, it was a little tricky.

The view is incredible & the staff is very friendly. There’s a donkey named Gina that walks around which gives you the farm feeling. Until you have been here it is difficult to imagine how tucked away and private this property is. The artistry and love that has gone into rehabilitating this more than a century old house was not lost on us. The farm to table dining is particularly delightful.

We had planned to visit another town that evening but realized it was going to rain and the trek to the hotel was really far without a car. We decided to stay in and eat dinner at the hotel. They food is farm fresh and one of the best of all of Italy! The night was so relaxing watching the clouds roll over the mountains and ultimately clear out to let us see the town lights and starts.
