For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Excellent rural setting. Friendly hosts. Clean rooms and basic rooms (expected given that it's a farm stay). Close to other fruit farms. Love the setup of the villas. The small wade pool was a hit with the children.
We love the great hospitality shown by the owner and the family. We really feel like staying at home away from home. Breakfast is great and love the care and thoughtfulness in the preparation and presentation of the food. We love the fun cycling activity around the farm area in which we got to pluck our own chillies. Good reminiscing experience in the family villa that we are staying at.
The location is the key, as it’s a farm. Very good view from the top of the mountain both from the room and the breakfast area. Our room had a panoramic view. The stuff is super nice and tries to do their best for your good stay. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. It is a good stay for calm rest.
The durian farm on the hill, it was very quiet i sleep like a baby till morning, breakfast nasi lemak and coffee was excellent and beyond expectation. The view from the cafe was superb, worth the money, i can sit there half a day...
It’s a durian farm in the hills of Penang. We knew it wasn’t durian season, however it is a good experience for city dwellers. Quiet and peaceful with a spring fed plung pool. Breakfast was good with your choice given the night before . Lattes were excellent any time of day.
Really great location to calm down and relax. The fruit farm is a beautiful place in the middle of nature to enjoy a few calm vacation days. If you are lucky, Jenny will be around and cook delicious meals for you :)
The hosts know a lot about Penang and its surroundings and give great recommendations! Highly recommend!
The location was nice and secluded in between durian farms. The pool was a nice extra. Rooms seemed newly refurbished and the glass wall allowed beautiful views into the surrounding nature.
Nature Fruit Farm is a lovely place with beautifully detailed housing, a tastefully main house with breakfast and chill area und crazy flora all around. The host Jenny is a real superhost ^^ providing all the good food, adventure information if you need, giving you a Chinese and Penang culture cross-section and of course: serving the best coffee! It is a perfect place for people wanting to escape the touristy hotspots on Penang Island. We loved it.
This is a farm house in Hakka X Malay style. You'd need some navigation but it comes out as a secret gem in the former plantation area. The hosts are super friendly and make me so relax through the entire stay and exploration around the area. You'd definetely like the place if you love pets. The puppies welcomed me and guarded me through the first night of the stay. May be she thinks I'm a city person and not used to nature. My deepest sleep ever in the past three years! Recharged after ward.
