This Quinta is set in a beautiful location with views across vineyards down into the valley. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we opted for dinner on site, and it was fantastic. the room was very nice and comfortable. the breakfast was good. the shower had plenty of pressure and kept the set temperature (not all do). we only stayed 1 night, but could have stayed here for a week.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. The apartment amenities were all you could ask for. The pool and property were stunning. It was a quiet location. Mini bar with local was amazing and great value. The breakfast was very very nice. I would recommend walking the trails around the property. Numerous fruit trees and vast orchard with history pathways. Great hike. Parking was ample and shaded.

Amazing location and very friendly staff! Felt like we were staying with family (only better, lol). That patio? Sipping a glass of complimentary port upon arrival, while watching the sun set and the Douro meander by (all in complete silence) - to die for! We could walk around the farm, pick and eat fruit (different sorts of apple, fig, grapes, ...) Electric charging stations for e-cars and for free. The indoor pool with warm water was good. The view from our villa was wonderful.

We arranged to have dinner there, and the two of them made us a great home-cooked meal. The breakfast spread was excellent. We got to hear stories of wine production in the Doura Valley, got a tour of their personal collection of historical wine making and farming implements, and had a very enjoyable time. Jose and Anabella are fantastic hosts and warmly welcome you to their Quinta . There are several world class viewpoints within a few miles drive . We would definitely book again and for those who want to be off the beaten track but close to all facilities we would recommend you do not miss this gem of a place .

José and Annabella gave us a tour of the farm and the facility where they produce small batches of wine. We had a priceless dinner with very nice conversation (in English). The Quinta is very peaceful, clean the rooms are lovely furnished. 100% recommendation.

This is a superior quality lodging for a restful getaway or a family holiday in the exceptional Douro region.
