The estate was beautiful. Our room had the balcony with the most amazing views of the hills. Simply stunning. Claudio could not do enough for us! The breakfast choices were excellent, we could use all the facilities including the washing machine, air conditioning was fab, the pool was beautiful, the gardens with all the home grown fruit. Honestly we didn’t want to leave! Plus we loved their little doggy!

Excellent location, amazing staff, superb breakfast. If you love nature a best place to stay and Rue is a true gentleman who went extra mile in customer services and waited for us till 0130 as our flight was delayed and rental car got messed up by the provider. He briefed us about the location and area and ensured our stay was comfortable was always available to help. The kitchen staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Then again, the North of Portugal is all about nature and taking the views, sights and smells in our own time. The facilities are well looked after and clean. The rooms are very spacious and carefully decorated. There are 2 pools we didn’t get a chance to use but they looked like a nice way to cool on hot summer days. The staff went above and beyond for us, so friendly, accommodating and generous. Great company, fantastic room, beautiful grounds and pool, comfy four poster bed and the breakfast was spectacular.
