This is a ‘home-stay’ type premises with meals served in the family house. The family and staff were warm, welcoming and eager to help throughout and were ever-ready with ideas for restaurants and attractions in the surrounding area. We were free to roam in the family gardens and their vineyards, which have good views across the surrounding countryside. I'm giving this premises a rating of '10' because of the above. Don't expect 5 star luxury - do expect to be well catered for in a traditional Portuguese house, in a peaceful rural environment (only 10 minutes drive to the nearest small town).

From the lovely welcome we had from Carla to the immuculate, beautiful and comfortable upstairs suite with its own balcony overlooking the pool and the vineyards, it was the very best place to stay.
