The log cabin at De Pakhuys was simple so well priced. It was very comfortable, with lovely attention to small details like extra blankets and real coffee! The view across the fields to the mountains is beautiful and it is quiet, apart from the sounds of birds. We used it as a base to explore the Biedou Valley and surrounding area. We also had a great soak in the log-fired hot tub. The remote reception (because of Covid) was brilliant! Good communication from the host. Thank you

The wild flowers of the Biedouw valley were spectacular and grew up to the doorstep of the cottage. The thick natural rock walls of the cottage made it warm inside.

Accommodation is rustic, so if you're looking for luxury, this is not for you BUT nothing beats this glorious location!! My kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the river and so did the rest of the family, no TV but you don't need one, there's WiFi to hook-up to Netflix if you wish. The display of stars was our entertainment! We were greeted by a very lovely and friendly host. We will be back!!

The rustic chic look fits well with the setting which is not only tranquil but safe and beautiful.
