Namur
The 1-bedroom farm stay is equipped with a living room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are provided in the farm stay. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. If like me, you're vetting the location in advance to see how commutable it is to the city centre, then it's worth noting that whilst it shows as a 30min walk, parts are pretty steep; fine for rambling down into Namur but not great when marching back later in the evening; also sections of the walkway can be relatively narrow, so not that comfortable — I found the safest option was to walk into the city in the morning and get a taxi back out in the evening/nighttime. Michel, the host, generously offered to drive me in on the first evening, which was very much appreciated given that I'd arrived late and was unfamiliar with the route down to Namur centre. Michel et Bénédicte are fantastic hosts; the fridge was kindly stocked with a few locally brewed craft beers (greatly appreciated after an exhausting, long day of travelling). Due to my appalling French, communication was challenging; however, Michel did his utmost to ensure I understood everything I needed to know in the apartment, then left me undisturbed for the few days I stayed but with the reassurance that if I did need anything, they were on hand. This came to full fruition on the last day when my taxi to the train station let me down, and Michel, once again, kindly drove me into town. The accommodation itself is impeccably clean, contemporary and comfortable. Previous reviews mention the noise/smell of the location being on a farm, but I felt that only added to the charm. Highly recommend

Excellent hospitality, comfortable bed et good quality bedding. Excellent breakfast especially creative omelets with eggs from own chicken farming.
The hotel warned us in advance that their restaurant only opens Friday. Sat and Sunday ( so would be closed when we stayed) but as agreed, they very kindly put on a 'plat de jour' for us each night which was very good. Dog friendly. Very good size room and excellent en-suite. Nice breakfast. Though in small rural village location easy road access Namur or Charleroi. Would stay again.
Location was great for the Belgian Ardennes. Hosts were so welcoming. Farm shop across the road had excellent produce and the small bar that opened in the evening was a gem. Great Belgian beers, amazing hospitality. Our dog was very welcome.
Lovely (little) vacation home. Everything was very clean! Great communication with the owners. Love the location, which was rural. Well taken care off. Too bad we only booked for 1 night :). Parking space for our car was great!
A beautifully converted barn with incredible interiors done to a very high standard run by an exceptional couple. Can not recommend this b&b highly enough. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Rural location, rustic old house, part of large equestrian centre, dog friendly (3 friendly house dogs of their own; so not for any one who hates dogs) big bedroom and en suite, quiet. Good evening meal and breakfast. Easy access from main road network7, and to Dinant (18km to centre I think). Very good English spoken.
we enjoyed the quiet and rural location; a very good selection of local beers was available. Breakfast was rustic and included fresh bread and eggs from the hens outside.
Magnificent old farmhouse. Great breakfast.
Very charming old building converted in a B&B with friendly lady who immediately welcomed us in the house. Her husband runs the farm and gave us a tour in the stables where the cows, pony's and chickens stay. The breakfast was very extensive and overwhelmingly fresh. The milk was fresh from the cows on the farm and the eggs came directly from the chickens in the barn... The B&B is located in a very quiet village in the middle of nowhere, with a lot of nature and space to cycle and hike.
