The room was on its own in a barn so was very quiet and secluded. The owner was very attentive regarding the room and gave us information on restaurants and Alnwick. We got lost walking there from Alnmouth Station and Linda reassured us that we would not be locked out even though we were an hour late! Real milk was provided in a fridge for tea making. There was a lovely wooded valley just behind the farmhouse. The picture on Booking.com does not do justice to the situation!

Excellent spot, host was very welcoming, but after the initial hello didnt see them - but this was a good thing, didnt feel we were being monitored at all (Holly Cottage adjoins the main farmhouse). Easy access to the local and wider area, footpath behind the farm to walk to the beach, very quiet spot.

Loved staying on this working farm - you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. We had our own little barn conversion with bedroom/kitchenette. It was really cosy, lovely decoration and very clean. Linda was lovely and friendly- and her breakfasts are amazing

The host was very friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. Surroundered by fabulous countryside the views from the room were gorgeous. Would highly reccommend Hay Farm House.

Farm House room absolutely fabulous and huge. Exceptionally clean. Emma was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Excellent choice of breakfast.

We were visiting family for a couple of days so are familiar with the area but this was our first stay at Hay Farm House and hopefully won’t be the last. We had a warm welcome which continued throughout our stay, comfortable nice sized and equipped rooms, liked the fridge, with wonderful breakfasts each morning. Great location to explore north Northumberland and the Borders with excellent views of the countryside and Cheviots. Thank you for your hospitality.

The farmhouse was beautiful inside and out. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

Lovely farmhouse! Warm, comfortable and clean. Great stay, we had bikes and these were kindly put away for us overnight. Andrew was very friendly and helpful.
