Mitzpe Ramon
Farming a herd of the exotic alpacas and llamas, the unique Alpaca Farm - חוות האלפקות organises a range of activities from feeding the animals to wool production workshops in the local factory. Each accommodation unit has its own kitchenette and a terrace with hammock in front. The place absolutely exceeded my expectations! The farm is just a few minutes away from the town, quiet, peaceful, with a desert-like atmosphere and yet equipped with all the comforts! I booked a 'family room', but it’s not just a room, it's a house! A living room with a large bed and a kitchenette, plus a bathroom. Everything was impeccable! Clean and spacious! The bathroom was stocked with toiletries, toilet paper, and towels. The kitchen had dishcloths, washing liquid, and all the necessary equipment. The bed was large and comfortable, with beautifully fragrant linens! I had my own private terrace, surrounded by plants on all sides, making it very secluded while simultaneously offering a view of the farm and the alpacas. The farm itself is enchanting! Feeding the alpacas is such a delightful activity, not just for kids! There were also a few very friendly dogs that were eager to play and made my stay even more enjoyable. In the house, I had internet access (YouTube worked perfectly), on the farm I sometimes lost the mobile phone signal. On the outskirts of the farm, there is a serene spot for meditation ('dome' on the pictures).

Exceptional destination. Sunrise each morning on the hill on the farm, sunset on Ramon Crater, exceptional. Excellent restaurant in Mitzpe Ramon 8-minute drive. Don't miss this. Loads to do locally.
The spirit of the farm with the advantages of modernity - that is how I can describe that fantastic place. Also, there is a fantastic place to observe the stars.
The farm is in a good location right by Mitzpe Ramon. The rooms were comfortable, but smallest for a family of 4 -- tightly packed in. It was nice to feed llamas and alpacas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A/C worked well and the campfire was a nice touch.
Staying at the Alpaca farm was a wonderful experience. The staff are great, the yurts (tent cabins) are very spacious, clean and updated. There are Llamas and Alpacas, that visitors can pet and feed. And big friendly dogs herding the animals and guarding the farm, they are friendly too. It’s such a peaceful place!
camels are amazing and friendly and the ride was very fun. the place is not far from the nearest city (10 min drive), mind that on Saturday you will not find lunch or dinner in the city - everything is closed. in the ranch they also don’t serve diner on Saturday so bring something with you cooked or you can cook there in the kitchen. You really feel that you are away and can relax. toilets are rather clean, houses also.
It was in a quiet location overlooking countryside. There were religious Jewish people all around in the street which made it feel authentic. It had a rustic charm which we liked. The room was really spacious for 3.
Quite and peaceful stay among camels in the middle of desert. Kids loved it. The camel enclosure is just in the middle of the farm. We had a hut with the desert view in the shade of the big tree and hammock. There is an air-con in the hut , we switched the heating on as it was quite cold outside. Breakfast was great and the guys managing the farm were very friendly, they even provided the tips what to do in Israel. And the camel ride was awesome.
Staying in a remote part of the region on an active farm was such a rewarding experience
Good location, firstly we didn't understand where is Mizpe Ramon, but later we understand) This place is very peaceful, stylish and full of love. Around you can find some places to eat, but most of them were closed, maybe it is because end of the autumn. And there was a place for yoga, and we were invited to join, but we had our own yoga in the bed) And i recommend to visit alpacka farm, it is interesting experience, farm is not small, a lot of creatures full of love)
