This was a house clearly already before they made it an accommodation so its equipped with everything you need. The kitchen was complete, washing machine and comfortable beds. They have two dogs that will keep you busy when you're outside :)

Amazing view from the comfortable large studio overlooking the small valley and the river (we got lucky with the weather). The owner Magnus and the employees working at the Farm are extremely friendly and we had a nice chat over a beer in the evening. Horse riding tour highly suggested. The studio has a small equipped kitchen and very good WiFi.

The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 64 km from Öndólfsstaðir Farm B&B. Warm welcome, the host was very kind and welcoming and paid attention to details. The room was spacious, clean and well equiped. The bed was large confy. The window view was twards the farm and we were able to see the horses in the morning. The house is far away from the main road and it is perfectly positioned to see the aurora borealis if weather conditions allow it. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot a variation and some local products from the farm. We also took the lunch pack which was delicious and came in handy.

The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly (special thanks to Emma who was our horse riding guide). Extremely good value for money, was surprised we had the whole place to ourselves. Kitchen was modern and nice. Beds were comfy and the place was clean.

Tea/coffee facilities and a seating area are standard in Hofsstadir Farmhouse’s rooms. All have a private bathroom, desk and wooden floors. The location, the set-up of the room, the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland.

Don't miss out on the ice-cream there, one of the best I've had.
